Chamonix - the dream of a trail runner
Chamonix Valley – Mont Blanc has become a favourite trail running destination and there are many reasons for that. Discover the beautiful trails around the valley with breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc as well as the Aiguilles Rouges.
We pick two of our favourite routes to show you the valley while you run and make friends on the trails. Each day we will have two options, from which you can choose depending on how long you want to run. If you decide to go for the shorter version you will take either a lift or a train back (included in the tour). The runs will last approximate from four to six hours giving you time to enjoy Chamonix or just relax at the spa of your hotel.
During the afternoon you can plan a visit to some of the different attractions that Chamonix has to offer. We meet again at night to enjoy dinner together and why not a glass of wine or a well deserved cold beer.
The routes are challenging, there will be long and steep uphills with amazing landscapes. The famous switchbacks on the downhills will be a lot of fun. You’ll run and hike with a light vest and in the company of an experienced International Mountain Leader (UIMLA) that will be with you all the time.
